This cd sucks…Pass on this one because you’ll be left disappointed it’s hyped to be more than it really is because of the Chris Brown situation. Don’t buy into it, because you are going to wish you hadn’t. I am =(

The “Mad House” Intro is the best intro I have ever heard!!! In fact, it should have been two minutes longer. The beat is great, and the melody is awesome. Good intro into the contents of the album. I wish I could give this album 4.5 stars, only because the “Te Amo” song threw me for a loop, and did not match quite well with the contents of this album. This album is the bad girl in all of us that is raging deep inside. Men don’t shy away from this album, because the songs are not girly at all. The best album from Rihanna yet. Keep rockin’ it!!

The first half of “Rated R” threw me off because I wasn’t crazy over most of the songs, but then by “Fire Bomb” it kept getting better and better. This is a creative album and I’m quite impressed with Rihanna. You can tell they spent alot of time on this cd, from the liner notes, cover and musical content. It has a dark, 80′s new wave type of feel, especially the song “Photographs”. I also like how Rihanna incorporated real instuments on some of the songs. It’s nice to hear real guitar in combination with new generation music. The stand out tracks for me are FireBomb, Photographs, G4L (best song ever!), Te Amo, Cold Case Luv, and The Last Song. “Rated R” takes u on a journey, like a well put 2gether cd should. Rihanna evolves into a true artist on her latest release.
